Wen-Chih Masterclass Complete!
Thank you for all of those involved in our inaugural masterclass run with Taiwanese Artist, Master Wang Wen-Chih. 'Quandong Dream' was created as a treehouse nestled in the junction of a mature Quangdong tree and proved to be hugely popular at this years Planting Festival.

10th Bamboo World Congress - Damyang, Korea 2015
Cave Urban was part of the 10th Bamboo World Congress in Damyang, Korea. The 20th of September Jed Long presented Cave Urban's most recent works and talked about the challenges of working with bamboo in Australia.
Dark MOFO 2015
Cave Urban is teaming up with the University of Tasmania to create The Hothouse for this years Dark MOFO festival in Hobart.
We will be down in Hobart all of May constructing the pavilion which will play host to Clemenger's Hothouse and Dark MOFO's Winter Feast.

Cave Urban helps Georges Cuvillier build 'Tunnel van de Liefde' at Swell Sculpture Festival
Cave Urban member Jed Long, spent the last week helping Georges Cuvillier build his Tunnel van de Liefde (Tunnel of Love) for the Swell Sculpture Festival. Constructed from 300 poles of Oldhamii, harvest from Crystal Waters, the piece is joined using a rope system that allows for the piece to be dismantled and the bamboo re-used once the exhibition ends.

QUT Project Week
Cave Urban will be getting involved at QUT project week. Students will be able to get involved with Cave Urban's upcoming project for the Brisbane Festival, whilst also completing their own proposals for a bamboo installation. One of the projects will then be built later in the year in Brisbane's Botanic Gardens.
