Hi Hi Burger, Bondi Junction, Sydney

Introducing, Hi Hi Burger, Bondi Junction’s latest Smash Burger Joint, created by Paul Allam, co-founder of Bourke Street Bakery. Located just off Bondi Junction’s Oxford Street Mall, on the ramp that leads to the train station and bus interchange, Hi Hi Burger is perfect for a snack on the way home or a quick bite inside.

The refurbishment activates a once unused shop front, supporting both takeaway and dine in. An open floor plan and bar that wraps around the perimeter of the shop provides a secluded nook for a quick meal or an informal place to meet, talk and enjoy a smash burger.

“There’s a lot to get excited about at Hi Hi, where they use Vic’s Meat and a single smash burger is an affordable $7.90…Hi Hi has kept the menu simple, with the staple beef burger adorned with American cheese, pickles and special sauce. There’s a vegie smash burger made with quinoa, chickpeas and carrots.

The burger start-up has nabbed a site just off Bondi Junction’s Oxford Street Mall … “It’s small, it’s fun, it’s very limited,” he (Paul) said.” - Via Good Food Guide, Sydney
