Mekasan
Mekasan Welcome Gate Amir Rabik, Bamboo Master has built largescale bamboo structures across the world.
He is originally from the island of Madura which was the home to the original Mekasan traders that forged a link between Australia and Indonesia. He continues this tradition by sharing his craft and expertise.
As part of the new partnership between Woodfordia and Indonesia, this is his latest work, built in collaboration with Cave Urban and the Woodford Folk Festival.
