Sunset Beach Club

Tucked away in the heart of Seminyak, SUNSET BEACH by Mrs Sippy is an ode to pioneers of Bali Style. 

The project's brief was to revitalise the foreshore of the Royal Beach Seminyak, making use of existing built infrastructure rather than demolition and building anew. 

Our design was inspired by local vernacular forms and materials. Working with local artisans we crafted a series of pavilions made from timber, alang-alang thatch and local limestone. 

In collaboration with Bali Landscape Company, we developed a masterplan for the site that identified areas of intervention and re-use. Adding planting and pathways to draw visitors to the beach and enjoy the sunset views.
