Thread Exhibition, Sydney Design Week, 2023
Designed in collaboration with Margaret Hwang and Daniel Valero from Mosssy Co, for their Sydney Design Week exhibition titled ‘Thread’, the exhibition showcased contemporary and sustainable textiles, supported by a bamboo structure.
Fabricated from locally harvested bamboo, our suspended bamboo structure displayed two large - scale installations, supporting experimental biomaterials in combination with commercially produced recycled, natural textiles and materials.

The exhibition further fosters Mosssy Co’s ethos as a platform to support climate-conscious suppliers, manufacturers and artisans from the Asia pacific region looking to preserve cultural traditions and craftsmanship while exploring contemporary ethical and sustainable alternatives.
