Special Projects | 2011 - present

Special Projects is an annual educational building project between Cave Urban and Woodford.

Each December, Cave Urban includes 60 participants in a month long building workshop hosted by Woodford. The workshops test ideas using art and architecture as a mechanism for exploring R&D research from the office.
The results of these workshops provide infrastructure for the Woodford Folk Festival which occurs at the conclusion of Special Projects.

Every year Cave Urban invites a different international visiting expert to teach new methods of bamboo building and design approaches.
